Introducing Phillipsburg Chiropractor Dr. James Mattison

Welcome to Stateline Chiropractic and Wellness Center's Website. I look forward to meeting you. Choosing a doctor to help with your healthcare goals and needs can be a difficult and frightening decision. When you go to a doctor's office, you must reveal a lot of personal information about yourself in order for the doctor to give you the best possible care. If you decide to become a patient in my office, I will do the same. Therefore, it is only fair that I reveal some personal information about myself. I was first introduced to chiropractic at the age of 2 months. My parents, ahead of their time, knew how important it was to be checked by a chiropractor. What was wrong with me? Nothing! My parents took me every two to four weeks for a check-up. Over the years, chiropractic has helped me with many different conditions from stiff necks to sport related injuries. I was able to see first-hand how chiropractic care helped my mom with her headaches, my dad with his lower back problems, and my sisters with sinus and allergy problems.

I knew that I wanted to be a doctor at an early age. After seeing the miracles with chiropractic, I decided that I wanted to become a chiropractor. I pursued my undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and received a degree in Health and Sports Science. I then moved onto New York Chiropractic College and graduated with honors in 1997.

After seven years of practice in Hackettstown, New Jersey with another doctor, I decided to open my own practice. My mission at Stateline Chiropractic and Wellness Center is to create an environment of quality chiropractic care for the entire family. Since you now know about my family, you know why.

I currently live with my beautiful wife, Kate, and two children, Jimmy and Meghan in Palmer Township. Meghan and Jimmy have been adjusted since birth and continue to get adjusted at least once per week. I am a huge football fan and love golf, fishing, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can help you achieve your healthcare goals. At Stateline Chiropractic and Wellness Center, you are treated like family. I will make my recommendations for you as if you were my mom, dad, or sister. Remember, in any successful family, communication is of the utmost importance.

Dr. Jim Asks some important questions of interest to Phillipsburg residents - Chiropractor Phillipsburg Dr. Jim Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
Is chiropractic safe?
What do you consider safe? Chiropractic care is safer than driving your car on the streets of Phillipsburg, getting back surgery, taking aspirin and even safer than taking a shower in your own home! Compared with things we accept as safe, chiropractic care is even safer. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
